Anyone here kinda tired of these stupid people who have a major problem in their life, and the first place they can think of to go is here???

Well, a while ago i read some posts from a kid who had pains in his stomach, asking for advice... the end of the thread was the kid going to the hospital, which may or may not have been true.
If it was, then dammit, is he a misguided kid!!:disgust:

Agreed.

That's a pitiful rant for a relative newb.

At least we all learned a year or two ago that you should not pour water on a CPU while the power is on.

Pitiful rant? Just making a passing remark that it's goofy for people to run to anandtech whenever they have a huge issue on their hands...
Doesn't anyone else think it's odd to get advice from a bunch of strangers, for important things, when you could just ask friends or family whom you already know and trust? I mean, sh!t, if my car broke down, or I ruined my computer, the last thing I would be concerned with is what a bunch of message-board junkies think! heh heh

Whatever! :D

For some people it is more comfortable for them to disclose personal problems to strangers that they'll never see. Often we do get advices or feedbacks from strangers in real life (ie. professors, classmates, taxi drivers, waitresses, auto shop techs). It is perfectly normal to ask for help anywhere from anyone.

Then WHY are YOU here? Just to make fun of other people? :p

BTW, this IS the place (GH) if you have computer-related questions and can get tons of free (and very useful) advice.
And the fellow that you are making fun of - HAS learned about his car problem. ;)
