I am buidling a new machine, I saw a deal on a graphics card that I could not pass up. However I have no why of testing it because it is pci-e and I don't have a full system yet. Are there any places that can test the card for me to see wether or not it works? Thanks in advance.

no friends?
a computer shop might let you test it out but i bet they'd charge.

not usually a good idea buying used stuff off of ebay. there's probably a good reason why it was so cheap

Unfortuately I am just getting into computer building, thus I have very few freinds who are as ept or involved as most here on the forum. All those that I have asked are still agp or dude what are you talking bout? I think I will try local computer shops. Would a large nationwide chain be of any help, say a best buy or something along those lines?

Compusa would probably test it for a small fee. Do NOT take it to Best Buy, they might charge you more to test it than you payed for it. Geek Squad blows...

Local comp shop would be the best.
