bought another bike....

I didn't get a 10 for insurance reasons. My insurance company is based on year*cc.... I'm more than plenty happy with the zx6r as a street/twisty bike.

try state farm or geico.

state farm was WAYYY cheaper at first, after a couple years of riding under my belt geico was cheaper.

When I was 20 I bought the zx6r.... it was my 2nd b ike (had been riding about a year...) and was $1500 a year.. which is really really cheap for a sportbike at 20.

I'm 21 with geico and the zx6r is a little over $1200

also for the sv I'm thinking about getting a custom plate that says "hligan" (hooligan...) thoughts?

ohh i want a zx6r. those are good bikes the few i have been on are pretty short and easy to ride. heh just what i want.

not a first bike... at all....

calm until about 9k... then they'll throw you on the road.

if it's your first bike:

>160lbs:sv650
<160lbs:gs500/ninja 500

I had a gs500 as my first bike and am a WAY better rider because of it. I also sold it for more than I paid for it... food for thought

I got quotes from state farm, geico, and progressive. difference between them was $200-300 which should matter if the yearly cost was around $1500 or so but not when full coverage cost just as much as a used bike every year. 🙁

If I saw a plate like that, hooligan wouldn't be the first thing on my mind. 😛

Oh and I don't know if you're going to keep that naked look but I think Armour Bodies has nice fairing kits for the SVs. 🙂

EDIT: Heres the street version.

Hehe,
I don't even know what my insurance would be for full coverage.

Just for plpd+comprehensive, there was a $100 increase between a 2000 F4 and 2002 F4i (virtual same bikes)...go figure.
