Bought an IPOD from Apple and they called me?

and wanted to know if I wanted it shipped today? I ordered it last week and was suppose to ship by the 11th, but was delayed. They said it would be delievered by the 13th. It didnt ship again. So today they call me and tell me that because of the FTC they have to call me to ask me if I want it shipped because it was delayed. Now ive had things delayed before but never had anyone call me to ask if i still wanted the item shipped. This was a first.

Has anyone else ever recieved this type of call? Didn't know that it was a law? and required that they call you?

that seems like a good idea...if you cancel they wont have to pay for return shipping.

Well the thing is they said that it was law and that they were required by law to call me and see if I still wanted it shipped.

Ive had things delayed before and never recieved a call asking if i still wanted it shipped. Wish other places would call and let me know its being delayed since its suppose to be LAW...
