Whoah, so HOLY CRAP. Installed some DDR3 1600 in lieu of my 1333 running at 995MHz and the performance difference is staggering!!!!!!!

DOOM 3, same settings: 90 FPS

Running Crysis now...

Yeah the faster your RAM the more difference it makes because of the APU. If only you had 1866 or higher, LOL.

This was my first thought. It would be especially interesting to see 1866mhz with CL of 8 or even 7! Still probably the performance increase from 1600mhz to 1866 wouldn't be as big as from 1333 to 1600.

No as far as anyone's greater interest is concerned.

I think it probably is playable, though not completely smooth. Crysis was still playable below 30fps.
