I was shopping for a radeon 9800pro 256mb video card. I didn't realize I was buying the nonpro one until they shipped it. I guess I will just refuse shipment?

what an idiot I was. :frown:

Down load the drivers that should let you soft mod it. That should turn it into a pro.

Pretty damn overpriced for a 9800np too, 230 USD is a rip off when you can get a number of 9800Ps for 200. Not to mention 6800NUs ranging from 250 to 300, and 6600GTs(PCIe) around 215.

i agree with everyone else, u still may be able to get in on this deal if u order tonight, otherwise, im not sure.

The BFG 6800 oc is a really nice card, and a lot faster than the 9800pro

That isn't a no-pro it is a 9800 with a 128-bit memory bus, you'd be much better off in almost every situation with a 128mb 9800pro.

Oh god almighty. You paid $229 for a 128-bit 9800? (Search the Sapphire part number for proof.)

I hope you got a free tub of Astroglide with that ... 'cuz you got fvcked.
