I bought the mp3 player for skiing, its kinda cool, small has an ok storage capacity and is expandable, 4gb is enough for a day of skiing, and it seems pretty tough, so if I have a bad wipeout I won't break it... but I could get the creative zen vision M for $90 more and have 26gb extra storage capacity. Also the video playback is supposed to be quite a bit better than the playback on the Sandisk Sansa. I want whatever mp3 player I get to be able to withstand the cold, and to be able to withstand bumps and jolts it might experience as I go over jumps or down moguls, or when I have a bad crash. Which mp3 player should I go with?

EDIT: I was just talking about the video playback as one of the features that is better on the zen vision m than the sansa, for when I am using the mp3 player for other activities than skiing such as flying, in class or wherever you need a video playing mp3 player.

Somehow, after reading that I got the idea he wanted to watch videos while skiing, I don't suppose that makes sense though.

Vision M has a hard drive so it will die before your sansa.

the sansa e260. if you're going to be skiing with it, a harddrive based player would liikely die. get a flash based one such as the e260.

Yes the Sansa E260 has a flash based Memory meaning no spinning parts. So if you do wipe out it will be fine unless it gets bent or dented severely
