Bought this for my aunt who's CPU got ruined, but that's another story.

I just checked out the stepping of this new CPU, and it's a week 14, and is an AQYHA... I wonder if it might be as good an overclocker as the mobiles??? Maybe I'll have to experiment a little before I turn it over to her :D

2.4 on default voltage =) The board overvolts to 1.68 though... but 2.4 on 1.68 isn't bad... although she doesn't even need all the power it has at stock speed. I'm going to put it back at stock and then see how low I can set the voltage and keep it stable... cooler is better than faster for her since she doesn't keep it in a well ventilated area :roll:

You must have gotten a binned 3200+ as that's an extremely high OC for 1.68v with such an early stepping. My week 39 only makes it to 2.1 on 1.66v. I assume you stress tested--how long was Prime95 good for?

0414 = Week 14, 2004... or... 2nd week of April, 2004.

I only ran Prime 95 for a few minutes cause I don't really care how far it overclocks... was just curious if it was as good as the mobiles, and it appears as though this one is. Strange thing though... the mobile core I have has a reddish tint to it... and so did the previous two XP 2500's I had... this one doesn't have a reddish tint at all. Wonder why that is...
