Bought a new S51G with built in video but no video

on startup and trying to at least update the bio later... I am also using a 800 MHZ FSB CPU the 2.4 GHZ CPU... could that be the reason.

does it make it past the POST, or does it just hang? Do you get any beeps when you try to power it on?

You may want to try the motherboard/hardware forums as they get a bit more traffic for this sort of thing.

I am assuming this is a Shuttle. If it is, they make an SS51G and an SB51G, not an S51G; gotta get the details correct - they're important! Either one of those models do not support that processor. Results may vary...

I saw one guy who put a 2.4C in an SS51G. It ran at 1.2GHz! Video worked, though...

Yes I agree you have to pair the correct processor with the correct board. Shuttle does have a 865G board in one of the small form factors.

The SB61G2 - it's nice!. Ran one with a 2.4C, 1GB PC3500 and a Raptor - that thing smoked!
