Just got it connected and running. Print server runs like a charm. So is there anything I need to to to get the firewall turned on or is it on my default? May sound like a stupid Q, But im a n00b here 😛

if it is a wireless router then you should secure it. First enable at least 128bit WEP encyption with a totally randomly generated key. Words and number dates shouldnot be used. Also hide the SSID by disabling SSID broadcasting and change the SSID to something other than DEFAULT. The set up MAC filtering to only allow NICs with their MAC addresses entered into the router to connect to the network, and then keep DHCP enabled but set up statically allocated IPs based upon the MAC address of each NIC. Also limit the number of DHCP clients to the number of computers you will have connected to the network. This will make your wireless router more secure, but not totally secure
