Bought a new Gigabyte GTX 760 ... and now I can't detect my monitor

I have an ASUS Z87-Pro and an i5 4760k CPU and just got my new video card and an SSD today. I set my BIOS so the default video is through PCI-E, and I got Windows installed fine while working off my monitor. Once I installed the display drivers (most recent nVidia ones), I could no longer work off my monitor. It wasn't detected and and searching for it in device manager or the display settings doesn't work. Instead, the card only picks up my TV which I have connected via HDMI. I tried uninstalling the drivers but it didn't make a difference. Then, when I went back to my old hard drives to see if I could get things to work (connecting my displays using the integrated graphics) without the SSD or 760 connected, my computer still won't detect my monitor. I've tried clearing CMOS and still nothing works. The monitor is a Viewsonic VX2025WM and connects via DVI-D.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? I'm at a total loss.

Well I found a solution about 20 minutes after I made this thread. I did a factory reset of my monitor as I found in another thread on here. After that, a simple reboot of the system solved the problem.
