I currently have the MX700. How much better is it?

I just got the MX700 and find that in games, if I lift the mouse and then put it down again, it takes a little bit of time to start tracking again. It's really killing me bad. Do you find that at all?

Sure, go for the clear plastic mod with the lego figure who looks like he's in cryo-genic suspension. One of the cuter/cooler looking mods done.Originally posted by: Anubis
now you need to mod it for even more sweetnass

It's not a long time, it's a very subtle delay. The type where I wouldn't even notice during usage in most applications, but gets me killed in an FPS. I actually think I might have figured it out. The sensor on this mouse is on the left, while the ones on my old dual optical were on the right. Add that to the fact that the mouse is probably heavier on the battery side, and it probably means that the mouse is being lifted unevenly, and I'm subconciously expecting it to track before it hits the desk. Probably something I'll have to get used to eventually.Originally posted by: Anubis
i can lift it a foot and turn it over and it begins to track teh second it hits the mousepad
