Nice, dont hold your breath for the Toyota supercharger though, look into an aftermarket one.
$3000 for a centrifugal-type supercharger covered under factory warranty will be very competitive to what the aftermarket offers.

*edit* i mistook MI for MO, n/m
that is your GF? and the doctor says she can beat it?

best of luck to you and her

Don't know for sure yet, but pre-buying quotes from my state farm agent were around 110/month, dropping to about 90 or so when I turn 25 in a few months. Multi-line, accident free.

St. Joseph, Michigan, not missouri. ;

Yep, we got great news from the oncologist today. NO CHEMOTHERAPY!!! 😀 Otherwise I would have had to move out of the apartment we are in because she would not have been able to work and I couldn't afford it solo with the new car payments.

thanks for the kind words.

So is it safe to buy it. Have early issues been resolved? I read on scionlife forums there have been cases of ABS turning on brakes unexpectedly.

Why, so he can void his Toyota warranty? I say wait for it 😛

Yeah, I wouldn't mod my car before the warranty period is over.
I am willing to bet that supercharger wont be released (if ever) until his warranty is up, then he gets one year on the sc only, there is something funny going on with the sc, they are dragging their feet about releasing it and giving no info as to when or why :|

I don't believe that guy. I think he's an idiot and just lost control of his car. Other people are just not familiar with ABS and how it can feel.

I'm pretty confident in it.

Congrats....you're one of the few that was able to get a 5 spd with nothing on it.
Didn't you have to pay the doc fee also ?? Southeastern Toyoto dealers makes you pay somewhere around $500 for that.

Also....post better PICS man....can't really see the car too well.

I must admit, that is a nice looking car. I hate the other Scions, and most foreign cars in fact (design-wise), but that is a sweet car.
