Nikon Coolpix L120
I needed a new digital camera because the one(s) I have suck. Old HPs and one new(er) Kodak, and they just don't take good pictures. So I decided to pick up this camera I had been eyeballing at work.
So far, I really like it. Takes very good pictures with little help from me. It seems to correct a lot of flaws or not show them very good. It has a bunch of different modes, though I usually keep it in close-up or landscape. I've used it to video a few things (one you can see in the Flickr link), and I'm mixed with the quality on it. On one hand, the sound is good, and the video quality outside seemed to be fine when I was videoing my car. However inside and outside when in lower light conditions, it was really grainy and just not what 720p video should look like. I don't know if this is something I can fix, or if I just have to have the correct light in order to film good looking video on it. I'm not a photographer, so I didn't think I needed or wanted a DSLR. With this camera, I can just turn it on and go, and it does a really good job of focusing itself.

My two favorite pics that I have taken with it:
The Mustang is a 1996, that was right after washing it. It has a few scrapes, dings here and there, but the pictures I took showed nothing. I honestly felt a bit bad listing the pictures on CL to sell it, so I did note the pictures made it look better than it was.
