Bought a metal can of olive oil, and I don't know how to open it

So, I bought a metal canister of olive oil, and it has a spout mechanism on top of it. The spout is flush with the top, and I don't know how to open it. Does anyone know how you are supposed to open these things?

usually it should have some kind of tab on it that you pull up on and it lifts it up. It's like an air valve on a beach ball.

i think you pull it up and can reseal it by pushing it back into place?

my guess.

Nevermind, I figured it out. There are little plastic rings that you lift up, and then the spout pulls up.

They shoudl have some kind of plastic latch. Better help will be provided with pics.

Off-topic rant: Damn ATOT is a pic-happy crowd. A digital camera should be a requirement when signing up or something. :thumbsup:

Yeah, that's how ours was. I think you have to cut something, then pull it until it pops out
