My flatmates bought a WRK54G Linksys Wireless just over two weeks ago, and ever since the router has to be reset every day, once twice a day. Now, this is becoming a PITA, so I was wondering what is the problem with it? It's not only the Wireless that's messing up. The wired connection (which one of my mates is on as well) keeps ****ing up as well.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with a shop called Comet in England, but they have a 14 day money back guarantee, but obviously this has expired. But they do have a 28 day repair guarantee if something messes up. I was wondering if I can claim the router is broken, because I know that they can reproduce the faults if they keep it running for more than a day.
Are there any other solutions to this problem?
note: I have searched a couple of pages on the Google, and I have found that the product, by default, comes with a ****ed up firmware, so maybe there is an alternate firmware (non - Linksys)?
