Bought a laptop with free windows7 upgrade and have a question

Do they send you a retail copy of windows upgrade or is it some oem that will only work with the laptop? I would like to use it on another computer.
 
If it's like the vista free upgrade was it'll be a full blown retail upgrade with a diff COA. Although it's most likely not meant to be installed on another PC the only thing stopping you would be ethics 🙂

Of course nobody has gotten one yet so who knows if it was changed or not
