bought a laptop with 802.11g but it won't pick up my 802.11b router

just bought a comopaq r3120us that has built in 802.11g. unfortunately it does not pick up my home network which runs on 802.11b. any ideas? my router is a microsoft mn-500. thanks in advance!

Make sure your SSID and WEP are set to match the router. You might have to set the G card to default to B.
