So after months of looking and asking for ideas and opinions I finally signed on the bottom line.

A 2004 G35 with only 18,000 miles on it. Looks brand new, amazingly clean car.
Fully loaded with everything you can think of. Sunroof, navi, the fancy spoke wheels, wing on the back etc.

The color is the nice shinny ?pull me over? red with off white leather inside.

Never drove one until yesterday and I was very impressed with it. The outside of the car says ?classy sports coupe?, but the engine says ?100% sports car?

I?d post a pic, but you all know they look like.

Thanks for all the help and opinions along the way.

Btw The masculinity thing has to do with my last thread about the VW EOS vs. the Mini Cooper. The EOS certainly has a ?chick car? look to it, but it?s really a nice car. But I think the mini works for either guys or gals.

Ok here are lots of pics:
VW EOS I looked at from previous thread
Mini Cooper I looked at. The red dash and accents looks great on this car
My pretty G35
another view
and another
inside, see the 18,954 miles for a 2004!!! insane.

Auto with the flip it over and change gears on your own thing. No paddle shifter on the stearing wheel though.

Why not a convertible z? It seemed like convertible was one of the primary criteria. Well, I'm glad you found something that works for you. The g35 is one of the best looking cars for any price and should be pretty reliable but the interior feels cheezy for the price. I've toyed with the idea of getting one of these myself but I'm convinced that for me the love won't last. Not hardcore enough to sacrifice the practicality. To each his own though.

Congrats. That is a solid car. I used to have one but I needed something different to support my kayaking addiction.
You definitely won't be disappointed. I was in mourning for a while after I sold mine.

Good choice I think. Looked at them closely myself a couple of years ago, but couldn't find any used ones without the sunroof (need the headroom).

Have fun!

Umm not tryin to dump on your thread but the G35 is pretty feminine to me. I see more women driving it than men. Any who props on the new car.

Hmm, yet to see a female driving a G35 around here. Usually represented by the AzN crowd, heh. Nice cars.

I've been paying attention for a while now, and I've yet to see a single guy driving a 3g Eclipse lol.

I was just thinking about how much I love the G35 coupe, and whether I should buy one for myself this morning.

I see a lot more women driving Neons than G35s...

Nice choice, probably way better than the RX7 you were considering at one time.

Where did you get it-a dealer or private party? Does it come with any warranty?

 An excellent choice! A friend of mine has a G35 coupe and I've driven it a few times. Very nice car. It should give you many years of trouble free enjoyment.

I see a lot of women driving trucks these days. Those must be girly cars too I guess.

4 door pick up trucks...the new mommy wagon.

Congrats! I love that car.

In fact, the G35 cost me about 5 grand...because after driving it, I wasn't satisified with the engine in the Acura TL. I ended up buying the TL-S to get the larger engine, and make my wife happy (for some unexplainable reason, she didn't like the G35).

Great car. Enjoy.

The auto was probably the best choice. When I drove a 6sp 350z the engine & tranny did not seem well mated for each other. Definitely better than your previous options...

I love G35's in that red (althought the slate blue is my first choice).

Great choice!
