Doesn't come in manual. Still would have gotten auto even if it did since my wife would need to drive it once in a while.

Nice car! I really enjoyed driving the 2014 IS350 during a test drive so I imagine it has similar characteristics? I've seen a few in PA (blue, red, white) already so I'll keep an eye for this one 😛

Nice! If you ever pull up next to a blue X1 with a baby car seat in the back, it might give you a run for your money. 😉

Hehe, it's got more power than that, and it's a lot lighter as well.

May not be your cup of tea but it's most definitely a legend in the company of other cars like any lexus that isn't an LFA.

Sitting in that new lexus will be like sliding your hand on the skin of a tight new drum. Solid. That NSX. . . rattleeesss. Sorry dude. It's old and rattly. Any car from that era is going to feel very dated compared to a brand new lexus.

You would think the RC is built off the new IS platform, however it's a frankenstein of the GS front, old IS Coupe center and new IS rear. I think it had to do with stiffening the chassis and being able to fit in the V8 for the F, but at the expense of an extra hundred pounds or so over the IS.

I think you got that quote about the car being a mish-mash of the GS/IS from one of the video reviews of the car since I saw that review too. It's nothing like the GS front. Here's a link to the GS at the lexus website (http://www.lexus.com/cm-img/gallery/2015-lexus-GS-front-driverside-big-clock-1204x677-GS1032.jpg). The front of the RC looks nothing like the GS. The lights/angular look is significantly different. It's as close to a GS as its close to an IS front. That comparision is nonsense. The rear is also nothing like an IS (http://www.lexus.com/cm-img/gallery/2014-Lexus-IS-350-exterior-static-overlay-1204x677-IS1371.jpg).

if you look at some threads over on clublexus, you'll see what i'm talking about. it's a mishmash of the GS, ISC and new IS platforms. how the actual vehicle looks has (almost) nothing to do with the subframe it's built off of. It's a main reason why the new IS cant seem to have that 5.0 V8 but the RC can.
