Bought a 6800GT on Ebay...

well seems only to indicate that doom recommends the card to play the game, nowhere does it say it comes with it or even implies it does.....

The only mention of DOOM is where it says "eVGA.com recommends this card to play DOOM3."

I wouldn't say that implies the card comes with DOOM3.

It's unclear why the word "DOOM" appears in the title, though. Maybe he just tacked it on as a search keyword.

I read the auction and it didn't mention that it comes with Doom. Yes it has the word "Doom" in the auction title but the auction does not *specifically* say that it comes with the game.

As the seller mentioned after you nailed him with a neg feedback "don't assume". Should have asked before you had bid.

"This person is horrible, misleading and vile." LOL does he eat babies too? :Q

He really didn't do anything wrong. Alot of cards I see say "Great for Doom" or "Recommended for Doom." You seriously do need to read. You shouldn't have given him negative feedback at all. It would have been nice if he had included a "included" section in the description, but as stated above, make sure you know what you're paying for before you buy!!

That feedback was completely uncalled for. Not anywhere in his auction page did he imply that it was bundled with Doom 3 and it was completely your fault for deluding yourself to the contrary. I'm glad you're calling it quits with eBay. At least I won't ever have the misfortune with dealing someone as indecent as you.

This is exactly the reason i hesitate to leave feedback first. When some moron who expects something that isnt advertised and flames me with negative feedback and I have nothing to retaliate against. Nowhere in the entire auction did he even mention about having Doom3, and yet its assumed to.

Ofcourse I shouldn't have assumed, that's not entirely why I left that feedback...

I planned to leave him negative feedback regardless... he shipped it almost a week after I ordered and I requested him to hurry.

I don't think so, didn't even bother with Auto Notify since I had it on the Leadtek version and it was gone in a couple hours...

Nevertheless, your flagrant feedback was still uncalled for. I don't think shipping a week later makes him horrible, misleading or vile. Perhaps my standards just aren't that high.

well whatever asshat

You dont have Doom3 now do you

Yeah... bought it at the store today.

?

He DID mislead me, he never responded to my 'will you be using the DOOM3 key?' email... I just assumed he wasn't home and bought it because I was in a hurry.

Hoping I'd leave feedback before the item arrived... I suppose.
