I don't usually post stuff like this, buuuut
I'm at work right now, eating some great boudin from a place here in Austin, TX called Hoover's cooking on Manor rd.....great stuff
Anybody have any thoughts on this wonderful cajun delicacy?
everybody says it looks gross when i eat it around the office, but I love the stuff.
For those who have no clue what boudin is, heres a linky from cajungrocer.com (neat site :) )

I love boudin. My mom is from southern Louisiana, she is cajun, so I get the real stuff from over there. It is kinda gross, but the flavor is great. By the way, I'm in Austin too, I'll have to check out this Hoover's.

haha, thats awesome....
Hoover's is where 26th turns into Manor rd. (going eastbound)
they have the best lemonade I've ever had (non-homemade), the best chicken fried steak I've ever had, and the best mac n cheese I've ever had. They're ribs are top notch, the jerk chicken is amazing, the catfish rox, the mufelletas are stellar, and the southern fried pork chops are great too
as you can tell.....its one of my favorite restaurants :p

btw the boudin is a special there, so they don't always have it :)
