Bottleneck for Raptor???

Hi, i recently purchased a 74 G raptor. I am currently running it on the same sata card with a Maxtor 2 meg buffer, 80 gig HD as slave. I was wondering if the Maxtor HD will slow down my Raptor HD. Thanks in Advance
 
There is no master and slave in the SATA realm. Each device is attached to its own port. You will not experience slowdowns.
