The specs of my current rig are below. I'm wondering if a new mid range video card will bottle neck with my current cpu and to what extent.

I've been running pretty much the same setup with an 8800GTS.. That's about the fastest you can go before your cpu starts to bottleneck..

Depends what card and what resolution. On lower resolutions and better cards you'll be CPU bottlenecked.

So what would be the best card for my current rig in the range of 100-150 dollars? Any specific Newegg links?

ya i had it overclocked for a bit but it seemed to have problems so i just went back to stock.
Quick question though, What is PCI express 2.0 x16? Would you expect my motherboard to have it or could there be a conflict?

will my power supply be able to handle the 7900gt without a problem? I will also be adding a few fans. I've owned the Liberty 500w for 2 and a half years now also so, does that play a part?
