Both Intellieye mice broken?

I have two Microsoft Intellieye Mice and one just plain wont work and the other one will "freeze" if you stop moving, but when I click a button it starts again (or if I tap it lightly on the desk). I've reinstalled the Intellimouse drivers but no dice. This is quite a strange problem and unfortunately I only own 2 intellieye mice and nothing else.

I doubt that both of the mice are broken, but who knows?

Anyone heard of this?

I'd also like to note that this problem is temporarily solved if I take out a battery and put it back in. It takes about 2 minutes and it starts doing it again.

Yeah, just out of the pack. Plus, the first one isn't wireless.

MS will replace it if it's defective. All you have to do is call them.
