Bostonians,
I grew up loving US History and especially Boston in general, but ive never been. Ive also been a Red Sox fan for 25+ years and would love to see a game at Fenway.
Id like to walk to the Freedom Trail as well and take in some historical sites.
Since im not familiar with Boston itself what would be a good area to get a hotel at that might be within walking distance to Fenway, Freedom Trail and maybe some other "shouldnt miss" sites? Maybe even some specific hotel recommendations. Id prefer to stay under $150/night. Less is better in my book as ill pretty much only be sleeping there. I dont like to spend lots on sleeping accomodations.
What is the easiest/best way to get Red Sox tickets? I know they sell out every game pretty much so im sure its not like the KC Royals where i can just walk up and buy a ticket and walk in
We dont even get half full LOL.
Also any restaurant recommendations would be helpful. Almost every city has certain restraunts that stand out and shouldnt be missed.
Thanks in advance.
