CC vs Beckett eh?? Should be a tremendous pitching duel. I hope anyways..nothing like a playoff pitchers duel especially in a place like Fenway. The game is on Fox this time instead of TBS.

...ugh.. I'm sure it'll be Tim McCarver and Joe Buck doing the honors. meh

Not only do I find McCarver vaguely bearable, but TBS HD never made it out here. So Fox is my only option to watch the games in HD.

Anyone in Boston going to a game? I would kill to go, but I'm stuck in CO which ain't too badd if you heard about what the Rockies have been doing.

Oh god, I just realized Joe Buck is announcing. I'm putting the game on mute and throwing some music on.
 
Well shit.. I was hoping for an exciting pitchers duel from the two cy young candidates but CC stunk it up big time. He struggled against the Yanks as well. Beckett will get the cy young anyways being the only 20 game winner.

never say never. you learn that when you're a sox fan. becket let up two hits and a run in the 6th, but with some good relief, they should have the W.
 
I'm almost glad I've got somewhere to be so I can't watch all of this. I was just telling a friend earlier today how this would be the only situation I'd ever cheer against the Red Sox and sure enough it has to come to pass that the first game they jump all over the Indians.

Celtics - Greatly improved, in the weaker conference

If they are going to do that they better aquire Arod because after the 08 season Manny's going to be playing elsewhere.
 
The Indians should have let the Yankees win. They were the only team that could stop the Red Sox. Boston will sweep the Indians and win another World Series.

Although honestly I wish the Yanks beat the Indians too, so the Red Sox could once again embarrass them in the ALCS.
