Agreed, but big "if". Sox have a 7 to 3 home to road breakdown and the Yankees have it the other way 3 to 7. OTOH, three of those games are the games with the Yankees so taking them away it's pretty even.
 
There is no way anyone can possibly predict what is going to happen in any race with the exception of MAYBE the west.
