I think they should have kept Harry Senate, maybe the actor was tired of doing the show or something. Anyway, he could come back down the road.

I can't stand this show. Every episode deals with some run-of-the-mill controversial event. It utterly lacks creativity.

episode 1: a kid brings a gun to school, stay tuned for a powerful episode of Boston Public

episode 3: a kid writes positively about Hitler for essay. what will the teacher do? stay tuned for another lame ass episode of Boston Public

How can you say you hate the show if you've never watched it? The previews may be over the top, but they're advertising, created to be just that.

Not only is that show unrealistic, it appears to have been written by people who only watch the news about high school, rather than actually attending it.

Actually, I could easily see most of the events that occur on the show actually happening, just not all in one school. Just imagine the school as the collective body of all the public schools in the U.S. 😉

i dig boston public, as for its realism, it may be a little off, but who would want to wanna watch a show thats totally realistic about HS life, nothing is realistic on TV, not even those reality shows, real people pay rent! I think boston public is good because it actually shows teachers in a positive light, and gives people some perspectives on how hard it can be for a teacher.
