Boston Legal - 2/20/05

SPOILERS in case you may care:

You know, I think that while this may not have been the funniest episode, it certainly was very good. The whole thing about the definition of what a father is of Denny to his "son" was really well done, and the torture case was even more well done; relating to current events while actually developing the characters of Alan and Shirley. Sounds like I have too much free time on my hands, but this is one of my favourite shows.

Anyone who watches it, what do you think?

I think Alan is in for a "skillet-bopping" 😉

I've only watched Boston Legal a few times.... but I saw tonight's episode. I thought it was rather well done.... especially the definition of father.

I think Candace Bergen is an excellent actor.... and she did a great job in tonight's episode, as usual.

It wouldn't surprise me if Alan was hit over the head with a skillett.... though I could have done it myself, when he told (what's her name?) Betty White that if ever anyone deserved a smack upside the head....

i love this show. unfortunately i didn't get back from work until 10:20 so i missed a bit of it.

but was a good episode. i love the denny crane character. this show has so many good characters that the alan shore character is really just one of many. not like the last season of The Practice, where Alan Shores character dominated it.

I didn't understand the part near the end when Candice Bergen's character showed Alan that video of cops in California beating a criminal and saying that they got paid millions after a lawsuit.

Why was that video important in making Alan be a part of their case?

To me, it was just to drive home the fact that the dark side of people does exist, and that it was possible for them to win their case. I think that sometimes Alan just needs motivation to do something... understanding? Bedding? lol
