Oh wow, sad indeed. Strange, today I was driving around, gorgeous weather outside, had the window rolled down in my car, listening to "More than a Feeling" I haven't done that in a long time, weird.

Very sad indeed. :(

Boston was the first album I ever bought. Boy was I disappointed when I found out not all rock albums were that good...

A toast to someone I never knew, but made my life a little better. :brokenheart:

does boston have a better place in our memories because they didn't overstay their welcome?

would we think less of their music if they had released too many albums?

don't get me wrong, i liked their music but was just wondering.

If you look into the history of that band, how much talent was there, the background...

Couple that with one of the best master recordings there is (reference material indeed). Music/audiophile articles at the time were very strong - "you simply MUST hear this album"

Couldn't say it better. So very true. I can remember hearing that album for the first time.

Boston was my first concert. Either 1977 or 1978.

I still use the first album for testing speakers.

They were a very special band with one of a kind music. This is a very unfortunate loss to the rock and roll community.
