Boston folks

I recently moved to the Boston area and had a question about parking in Boston. I guess where I want to park will depend on where in Boston I want to go, but nevertheless, does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive parking garage? I dont mind taking some subway stops to get to my destination. I dont mind taking the T, but parking at the T station and the ride gets to be $9, not including subway stops from the North Station. The rates that I've seen for 2+ hours have been aroun d $15, I'm hoping I can find something around $10 for upto 4-5 hours?

Are you in the north or south shore? Where I live in quicy, there's a parking garage near the quincy center T station that's pretty cheap. My dad says it's about 3 bucks for 6 hours. If you want I can check for sure on my way to school tommorow (it's on my way). It's about a 2 minute walk though to the station.

some of the ones are like 12$ all day and such, the meters are usially 15 min for $0.25 it really depends on where you are and where you are going

I live about 15 min. due north of Boston. I go south on 93, a place that is close to 93 would be most convenient, want to drive as little as possible in Boston.
