they're nice guys, but they come late every day and leave early, perfecting the art of the 5 hour work day, not to mention totally trashing the data center at times and dropping the ball on huge issues leaving the grunts in the department left to pick up the slack.
the big issue I have with them though is that they'll ignore absolutely any issue or problem until is escalates to the point where their boss says something about it. totally afraid of confrontation (sp) and as a result, let people in the department get away with murder.
I thought I was pretty good back in the days where I was a manager. I expected a lot from the people who worked under me and could be pretty hard on them, but I made sure that I worked just as hard as I expected them to and tried to always be the last person out the door at the end of the day.
