Bosses Suck...

once again I am complaining about my boss... I've been working at the place for 2 years and 3 months, being 17 that is a long time, I work along with other high school students and a few freshmen college students at a local restraunt. Recently we had a management change, the new boss happens to be my old boss' older brother, who is a prick. Since the new boss has taken over, buisness is at an all time low and our boss yells at us because he thinks it's the quality of the food that has driven people away, and we've made the food the same way for 15 years. Rencently my friend Ian, and Justin (AKA: Bowdown) were called up by my boss... both of their hours have been cut, Ian just started swimming and usually they work around our schedules, which is a great advantage to working there, but Ian was told "call us when swim season is over", this pissed me off because I just got out of soccer season and managed to work 4 nights a week during that time. That's really discouraging to do a sport, and this is the first time Ian has done a sport in his high school career... Nice move Boss.... Now I've been working there 2 years and that entire time I participated in school sports, WTF? Justin just got his hours cut... why? I have no idea... but last night our ex-boss came in and saw the three of us moping around because we where pissed off that we where getting paid the same amount to do the work of 2 people... so he started B!tching at us to knock it off, if we didn't want to be there to leave... Had the 3 of us not needed the money provided by the job we probably would have walked out the moment he said that, unfortunately, things don't ever work out to be that awesome. Had we walked out there would have been 2 people doing the work of 8 the rest of the night. Fortunately(sp.) I didn't get shafted too bad by my boss, but that was because I chose not to open my mouth, the only thing I'm waiting for is a phone call from a buisness I applied to, I will promptly call up my boss and tell him where to go and why. But Ian, Justin, and I have created a union within a restraunt which seems rather funny, but if one of us gets a job or quits, all three of us are going. But it's not likely Ian is going to be back, he doesn't intend to call my boss at the end of swim season... I wish him luck, today he spent the day application hunting. Way to go Ian, proud of yuh bud.
