Bose V35 system for 500

Yeah I know Bose lol(I have a Paradigm setup), but on my local craigslist someone made a post for this system saying they need emergency cash and will sell for 750. I looked it up and it appears to be a 2500-3000 setup. They said they would take 500, I would buy to resell online ect. Should I buy this?

if they can provide the original receipt i'd consider it. Long as you can also test it before buying to make sure it all works. I'd also check with the local PD to see if theres been any reports of stolen Bose V35 systems. Something that expensive people would report it by name i would think (vs just saying home audio)
