Sweet. I'll check my Autozone here in San Antonio to see if they have the same deal. I'm due for an oil change too! Thanks!

oil not so bad, but you only change 4qts out of the 7 in the system. the car has 2 oil coolers that dont drain all the way. the filter is a different subject. it sucks bad location and faces downward. you need at least a 12" extention and a uni joint attatched to the wrench.

it's too bad that the normal, "cool" operating temperatures of car fluids is much hotter than your average cpu at full steam

Motor oil is not black. It's golden. It's the impurities from combustion that make it black. If you oil-cooled your PC with motor oil it wouldn't be black, unless your PC is powered by an internal combustion PSU.

I went to Advance Autoparts the other day and noticed that they had some new Valvoline MaxLife Oil filters FAR. They also had some new Advance Auto Part Brand oil filters Buy 1 Get One Free. Well, on closer inspection, these new Advance autopart brand ones are almost exactly the same as the Valvoline ones except that they are covered in grip material making them even better. (I already knew that the Adance Auto part brand oil is made by Valvoline.) I picked up all 3... nice deal. :p
