BorrowLenses.com - These guys are basically a NetFlix, but for photo camera lenses. Their newsletter this month has an interesting promotion. First off, here's their 5 % off coupon for this month: DEC5. Second, it seems like they are closing down shop for almost a week during Christmas, and you can take advantage of that. Here's the copy/paste from the newsletter:
"Since BorrowLenses.com will not ship any orders December 24th
through December 28th, we are extending a special offer for
folks who want some camera bodies and lenses over the
Holidays. Rent items to be delivered during the period of
December 24th through January 3rd, 2008 and we will send them
out December 21st. If your rentals will come earlier than the
date requested, you can keep them longer for no extra charge."
Seems like if you time this right, you can get a rental item for 2 weeks or so and only pay 1 week.
