I think its illegal to have sex in space. but probably more dangerous to attempt to do so.

Is it a Christian space station or something?

I could just see the arguments regarding juristiction in front of the Supremes.

My uncle who works for NASA told me they put birth control kits in the shuttle and on the ISS. I don't have anything to confirm that, but that seems like a good idea just incase something does happen. I mean, its got to get pretty lonely up on the ISS with just 2 people, and for 6 months at that 😛.

sweet...i hope they hook up

Ok yes they pack birth control and pregnancy test onboard the station. However it's not what you think. The pregnancy test are there to rule out pregnancy as a possible cause of certain health problems. We've had several women astronuats on board the ISS and if they had developed certain medical problems the flight surgeons need to be able to rule out things like ectopic pregnancy as the problem. Birth control also has other uses besides "birth control" so they stock it.

Basically the medical supplies are pretty well equiped for anything because it's a looooong way to the nearest pharmacy.

Officially neither NASA nor the Russians have "done it" in space. NASA did launch a married couple on a shuttle-spacelab flight -------- but they worked different shifts and slept at different times. Plus the shuttle is tiny. Imagine trying to get it on with your significant other in your living room with 5 of your closest friends also there. Not much privacy - even to just use the bathroom!

Sorry I don't have anything more juicy. 🙁

Exactly how does a political question get classified as "Highly Technical"??? And why hasn't a moderator kicked it to "Off Topic" were it belongs? Questions like this are one reason I usually don't waste my time in this particular forum. I can remember when this forum actually had technical questions in it. I must be getting old....

Good question.

Anyway, considering it would be a huge publicity stunt for both countries they will give the child both citizenships. And in order to steal away some of the attention half the countries of the world will probably offer the kid their citizenship too.
