Borg inspired Lian Li cube?

Oh god... I hate this thing.

A friend of mine showed it to me when it first came out and I was like "gasp."

Optical are on the side too. So you have to make sure you put the case in an unobstructed "corner."

Wouldn't make a good HTPC because it wouldn't be able to go into an entertainment center.

well .
its looks a Aspire X-qpack rival .
but the good thing is that it has 3 fans , so better cooling , but the postions of the psu will block a third part HSF .

Peace & ciao !!!

Be a great box for water cooling. Put your rad, pump and fans in it.
OT but, why doesn't anyone make a top mounted box for all that stuff?

I think I like the layout of the X-Qpack better because the PSU is over the expansion slots and behind the CPU is a 120mm fan. These cases with the PSU over the CPU is IMO not good because #1 the PSU bottom fan (if so equipped) is trying to move air opppsite the direction of the CPU fan and #2 two 60mm fans != a single 120mm fan. Now if only the X-Qpack were a centimeter deeper... wasn't there a company (Logysis?) putting out just such a beast?

Yes: http://www.provantage.com/microfly-micro-atx-cases~220160662.htm (but not Logisys)

Thanks for clearing that up for me, and perhaps others will find the info useful.

The good:
The PSU has 20+4 motherboard connection, SATA and 6 pin PCI-E, plus has 20A on the +12v. Ultra PSUs seem to be better than the typical ones found in Aspire cases based on what I've heard about them. The paint job seems better according to reviews I just read and Ultra calls it "Liquid Gloss Finish." The chassis is supposedly just over an inch deeper than the Aspire, meaning more room for standard PSUs.

The bad:
Fewer color choices and a larger (depth) size than the X-Qpack, plus some reviewers thought that the three piece cover wasn't as easy to handle as the one piece on the X-Qpack. The handle is just as flimsy as the X-Qpack. IMO the front doesn't look as good either, but that's just in my eyes.

The best part about this case is that the Provantage link shows pricing starting at just under $60 w/o PSU. If I weren't already planning to build my own case from scratch, that would be tempting.
