I got an invitation today to join the wonderfull collective!!!(I just love the borgs in Star Treck).
But i have some worries about RC5!
Can I uninstall it if i want to?
And is it going to slow down my performance?
Is it going to reduce my CPU and other component's life?
Please don't give me a link to a 200 page explation just answer my easy questions.
Otherwise can you give me a out ny giving me a link to the software.
Thanks!

Mabey by a few days, but the components will still outlive their usefulness.

That's as about as short as it gets, but it should do the trick.;)

Easy to uninstall. Won't slow you down. Yes, it will reduce the life of your CPU; from about 10 years to 9 years.

Pre-configured setup disks are here.

There are multiple Seven of Nine's because we are divided in to UniMatrices. That designation is currently not available, though. The next in line is Nine of Nine, UniMatrix Three.

That is your call.
Do what your heart tells you to do :)

It's all TA - and that's what is important.

Can be done that way... That is Klinux...

These are install disks. Feel free to choose BORG - or generic.
As long as it's TA - you are among friends :)

No... that indicates you need this section in your dnetc.ini file...

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR=0,DES=0,CSC=0

That's the ticket.

DanC, that looks like an "all" benchmark, which is done no matter what the INI file is set to.

Specialist,

Those numbers are a little slow for a 1.8 ghz athlon. ;)

The second set of numbers are a benchmark for your system. They are an indication of what your stats could be, but are not your stats.

You are currently submitting work for the TA SETI mini team. You can find the stats for your mini-team here.
