Bored with games. Need a new one. Recommendations?

CS is good and all, but I get tired of it. Currently working on AvP2 but I'm nearly done. THinking of going RGP this time.
Whats a scorchin hot RPG game to pick up?

Neverwinter Nights is the best out there right now. There are thousands of kickass modules available for DL, so its got pretty much infinite replay value.

Not really an RPG, but have you played Splinter Cell yet?

You might try Escape Velocity Nova. It's not that graphics intensive and the graphics isn't that good, but you might like it. It was ported over to PC from Mac. If you liked Escape Velocity, you'll like this one.

NWN eh? Alot of people ahve said good things. Worth the 40 bucks or so?

Graphics arent so important as gameplay. Hell, before AvP2 I was playin come REALLY old game recommended out of the "Scariest game" thread. System Shock. Very cool.

If you have an xbox... check out star wars knights of the old republic. But for PC, I would say pick up neverwinter nights.

Another vote for Neverwinter Nights. Good stuff.

Recently got Rise of Nations, also. Difficult to learn all the small details, but great game, and a lotta fun.

Yet another vote for NWN. Good fun with lots of downloadable modules. Haven't picked up the expansion for it yet.

NWN is great, and it can be had easily for $30 not $40.

Also, I am having a great time with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on my XBox. But it is coming to the PC soon I think.

I saw it at Amazon for 20 bucks. Throw in the expansion for another 20.

Well, actually I was playing System Shock 2. Free download online!
Helluva game too. MUCH harder then I thought. If I wasnt out of ammo for the gun, the damned gun was broke so i couldnt shoot the ammo I did have!!

holy crap i played that game like 6 years ago (escape velocity). i had the pimpingest ship around too, rebel fleet commander thinger with like maximum tie fighter guys that deployed. it was dope. i tried to play nova but it was soo big, and then i ran outta time.

This game has a TON of replay value, imho its by far the best RPG out atm. You can get the full game and the expansion for like $60 now... not to mention all the available modules for download. I highly reccomend the Dreamcatcher and Penultima series from nwvault.ign.com .
