What's cool is I have had FiOS for a year now and happily been paying $49.95 for the service. I got a letter yesterday in the mail though which I guess they send to people they want subscriptions from (so not sure why it was sent to my house) but it mentioned my FiOS package at $39.95. So I call up to see what's aup and got my bill reduced! $39.95 for 20 Mbit/s download and 2 Mbit/s upload... wow.

I'm still waiting for the damned TV service though. Luckily I read in the paper recently that my town is finally negotiating a franchise agreement with Verizon so in a few months I'll finally have it
