Bored? Please try to find this item for me on Newegg

Bottom of this page, right-most item (COM Port Cable is a PCI slot adapter for a serial port. It plugs into a header on the motherboard.

I've been trying for an hour to find it on Newegg and I can't. If you're bored, can you please take 5 minutes and see if you can find it?

Why Newegg? B/C I have $700 worth of stuff sitting in my cart ATM and I need this cable to complete my order.

Wapp: Yeah, it looks that way. I've been searching for almost two hours now using every conceivable combination of words.

Looks like I'll give a Serial-->USB adapter a shot. My new MB doesn't have any serial ports on the IO panel, but it has the header on the board itself. My UPS uses a serial connection to the PC.

Contact Gigabyte if it's needed. Usually they'll ship you out a replacement cable like that for the cost of shipping.

No luck, I know had some of those , but I must have thrown them out when I moved.

I haven't used a serial port since I used a SpaceOrb 360 as a game controller.
