Borbers B&M stores are offering a special 25% discount for Teachers on April 12, 13 and 14th. You must provide proof in the form of an ID or pay stub. The discount might only be good on books, but your mileage may vary. I'm hoping to get some DVDs.

I know that this deal will only be good for those fellow members who are teachers, but word on this might not get around through other channels in time. Heck, I think more companies should give us teachers a break and some recognition. Thank you Borders!

Discounts may not be combined and already discounted merchandise will recognize the higher of the two. Teacher discounts may also be used for personal shopping during these events.
 
Hi, do you know if this discount applies to ALL levels (e.g. University professor?) thanks. where did you get teh f;lyer BTW (in case my local borders doesn't know what the heck I'm talking about)
 
Borders and Barnes and Noble offer a regular discount at all times for educators for class materials and books. This is above and beyond and includes personal purchases. Probably more, as well, including such things as free massages, food, materials, etc.

Is this a national promo, or a store or regional one?
I ask this because my Ex is a regional marketing person with Borders, and she does a teacher appreciation day in each of her stores once or twice a year.

So, please let us know if this is some info you got from an in-store flyer, or via a Borders corporate email or newsletter, etc...

I hate when stores "team up" with Amazon...it makes finding any kind of corporate information next to impossible.
