I really disliked how they worked the "Season Pass" for BL2. I bought the season pass, but then tons of stuff wasn't included, and there's so much DLC that it's difficult to tell what you have and what you need.

I think the devs said they're not doing season passes anymore for DLC, so you'll just have to buy it all as it comes. That's what I do for Payday 2, so no big deal. Last time I looked, BL2 has $150 worth of DLC on Steam...

So are there any active deals to get this pre-ordered for less than $59.99? I told myself I was going to hold off for a couple of months but I feel my will evaporating the closer we get to release.

I think the best you might find is 20-25% off at GreenManGaming with a voucher code, if it's not excluded fro the deal.

What an insult, that price. I won't bother until it's $20.

I am starting to rethink that. It does have 4 playable characters, and I heard it was on the scale of BL1. I went ahead and bought it. I am more concerned now about how the story will play out. Like, what kind of ending and boss battle will there be, when you know what happens to the character from BL2. I would have liked to see it 10 or 20 dollars less than BL2 though.

I believe the quote was it's bigger than Borderlands 1 but smaller than Borderlands 2. Borderlands 1 was a pretty huge game.

Where did you buy it? The deal at GMG only works for the Mac version it seems. The key is probably the same, but it would suck if it didn't work.

**Edit**
Nevermind, it is a Steamplay title so one key gets access to all three platforms.

There will be at least one DLC playable character, the Handsome Jack Body Double.

Has there been any official information so far concerning the Pre-Sequel's difficulty levels? If it's going to work exactly like BL2's "Normal", then followed by "True Vault Hunter Mode" and "Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode"?

In BL2, Normal was alright and TVHM was almost perfectly-balanced. But then came UVHM and screwed up your day (well, speaking for myself here, I stopped playing at Level 51 on all my four characters, can't stand the stupidity and waste of time that's UVHM). I think that I'd just prefer a single difficulty level that would be balanced-enough so that I'd reach max level at the end, period, without the need to re-play again just to level up (I.E. if I want to play through the campaign again I'd just reset it myself but stay maxed out level-wise).

I'm in the middle of TVHM and it doesn't seem balanced well at all. My buddy and I are a good 7 levels higher than all the quests we're getting, and we haven't done any DLC or anything...

I found TVHM very frustrating as well. I managed to finish with Salvador just to be able to say I had done it, but it wasn't really fun, especially since I had already had to play through the story twice to unlock it. I really wish they would just make selectable difficulty levels so you could play at the difficulty level you wish from the beginning.

If I had to guess, it will probably have the same repetitive modes with increasing bullet sponginess as a method of increasing "difficulty".

I have a level 50 Assassin and a level 72 Axton in BL2 . Not sure if I will ever push OP levels with the new one so close to release. Plus so many other games to play now.

I see the game is now pre-loaded.

Figures, it looks like I will be travelling this week so it will be awhile before I get to play.

nice...ah lvl 1.....after putting 600+ hrs into BL2 and weapons that do 500,000 to 10 million damage, it's gonna be weird to fire my first pistol that will prolly do 19 damage....I can't wait.

Unlocked via VPN today and played for about 2 hours...I will agree- it IS strange having to start over with your pistol again lol...

It's been fun so far- It's Borderlands- you either love it or hate it I guess....

If I'd pirated the game I could have been playing it yesterday. Like I mug I paid and am sat here unable to play it for no good reason at all.

My impression from the first 3 hours or so is it's not as good as BL2. There is way more running around large areas and although there is the added stuff from 2nd game I haven't seen anything new other than oxygen requirement + buttstomp/low gravity. Going from BL1 to 2 I was way more impressed in the first few hours than I am here.

Anyone else think the shooting is weird in BLM TPS vs BL2? I played about an hour last night and it seems very "floaty" and not because of the zero g. As in, the guns and melee seem to have no "impact."

Is it safe to assume if you can run BL2 well, then performance in the new game will be similar?

I never finished BL1 and BL2...but bought BLPS anyways...i'm a sucker for new stuff that I won't ever finish hahaha.

I think i'm gonna dive directly into BLPS and leave BL2 there...sad but hey, YOLO :p

i get weird dips into the 50's sometimes in BL2, when its normally cruising at 80-90 fps also in BL1 dlc areas and it feels like typical UE3 lag, its only rare so not a huge issue
