just the other day I was comparing xbox 360 borderlands to my pc

720p, 30fps, tearing, low quality graphics, no anti aliasing, no anisotropic filtering, stupid long load times

vs

1080p, 60fps, vsync, high quality graphics, anti aliasing, 16x anisotropic filtering, near instantaneous load times

Plus Keyboard and Mouse.


Preordered as I love the previous two games.

There are many other game who deserve $60 price for example Evolve,Dragon Age inquisition,Witcher 3,Assassins Creed Unity,Far cry 4,Project cars,Shadow of Mordor,Lord of fallen,Aline isolation and many more but Borderlands Pre-Sequel does not deserve to have a $60 price tag because only AAA games get that price tag.

This is a strange post. For example why is Far Cry a AAA series but not Borderlands? Pretty sure Borderlands 2 far outsold Far Cry 3...

Is it not AAA because you don't like it? That's not what defines AAA.

lol. Speaking as an Nvidia owner, Physx sucks. It just looks crap in borderlands and adds nothing.

But as it's a plus point against the console peasants I'll allow it.

Well, my OP was math fail, since it was 10% off not 10.00, but anyway, I went ahead and bought the game on Steam, since I have Steam gift cards I got for my birthday. Really should have waited for a sale, but since I havent paid full price for a game in a while, I went ahead. Hope I dont regret it.

Sable, I agree about physX, at least in BL2. I have an AMD card, but use the cpu physX hack, and turned it off. Just found the sparkle and glitter to be really lame looking and a distraction from the gameplay.

I picked it up for 27 bucks on ebay, got plenty of play time out of BL1-2, I know that I will get many hours out of it.

This is looking to me like the best Borderlands yet! Love this Grinder feature they added. It's not full-on crafting but apparently if you put 3 weapons with similar stats/perks it will pump something better out.

They had something like that in BL2, but it only worked in multiplayer. Hope they change that this time.

It was some obscure thing after you killed a constructor, there was some kind of pit that you could put two weapons in and get a better one, but it only worked in multi player.

I am in the same boat as you. I want to hold off but given my love for Borderlands in general its going to be hard. Decisions... decisions...

It is full price for the game, 59.99. Since the developer made a point of it being a smaller game than BL3 would have been, I was hoping for a cheaper price. At least you get 10.00 off on steam if you own BL1 or BL2.

What an insult, that price. I won't bother until it's $20.
