Borat still funny if I've seen all of the Ali G shows?

ive heard he either re-uses, or re-does interviews that he already did as ali-g in the borat movie?

Like specifically the feminists and the comic coach with the "not" jokes...those are two examples i've heard so far...is the whole movie just a rehash of the tv show?

I'm a HUGE Ali G fan, and did think alot of the movie was rehash, for those who weren't familiar with the show. That being said, I still enjoyed the movie, and want to see it again this weekend. I was a tad bit disappointed, as I thought the entire movie would be a laugh a minute. It had me in tears several times, but not all the way through. I couldn't help but wonder if I would think it was funny all the way through, if I hadn't seen Da Ali G Show, and didn't know what to expect. Go see it!

I've been watching Ali G since 2000 when we watched the british version on my dorm-mate's computer. I've seen most of the HBO special. I laughed my fvcking ass off at the movie. There was a lot of new stuff, plus the rehashing wasn't bad.

i don't like ali g the comedian. However borat was funny and some of the jokes are similar to his tv skits, but for the most part they are different.

I'm a fan of Ali G show as well, the movie is just as funny as the TV show, just tied together with sort of a storyline....still hilarious thou

A lot of the set ups were duplicated from the tv show, but the actual jokes were different, and many times funnier. He had a borat formal dinner party in both shows and the movie, but the movie one was the funniest, and most transgressive, imho. He did ALOT more in that scene than he did in either show.

Most of the jokes in the movie are recycled from past Borat skits. I really did not find the movie to be all that funny. I think there is only so much you can do with the character.

It's exactly how Tom Green's brand of comedy was so funny at first, but so old a few months later.

QFT...

I mean, the running of the jew was hilarious, the like 10 minute naked hotel fight was good...but really i dunno it wasn't as good as I was hoping for...and i didnt even read any of the hype.

OH well, it was still funny, and i was entertained...quite a few people must not have known what to expect...because they left 1/2 way through the movie.

i kept updated on the borat myspace pages.. most of the movie mateiral was already revealed on the page so its not as exciting or surpringly hilarious for me as it was for others
