So I went to the movie theatre a short while ago and saw Borat. It was good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be. Some parts are funny, such as when he is acting like a uncultured person. But other parts, such as the "nude" scenes really distract from the comedy and are not really pleasing, to say the least. It could have been better.

Also, they could have picked a better storyline than the one they picked. Maybe Borat should have just went to different places and interacted with people.

Good but could have been a lot better.

Wow, lot of Borat threads tonight! Come on man, it needed some type of plot and/or direction no matter how lame. :p

I agree, it could have been better, but the Jew stereotyping scenes were pretty good. :p

I think we learned some things from this move:

There is a lot of ignorance and bigotry in America and sometimes, comedy brings it out.

why didn't you put your review in another borat thread? you had to start a new thread, well take a good look at the button, it says:

New Topic

this is not a new topic, you are not special. if everyone just started new threads instead of continuing existing ones, this board would be a total pile of junk, as it is at least some people think before they post.

I feel that Cohen's humor is incredibly savage in the way it shows up the average citizen/ Joe Blow/ Norma N. Normal as the bigoted creep she or he is.
