Borat was quite possibly the funniest thing i have ever seen on TV. Ali G was good, but Borat was much more funnier
Borat and Ali G were on the same show.

Isn't it Borat, Ali G, and Bruno in his show? Those are his different personalities.

Yeah, all the same actor.

I read somewhere that they were in talks to make a sequel based on Bruno. I don't think it'd do nearly as well though.

This guy is not funny at all.
First of all he is a British comedian. He does not have any right to go after any country like that.
He is not form Kazahstan, he never lived there, he is exploiting really, really poor people...
The only thing these people have is a pride about their own country and this as*hole is taking that away from them?

How something like that can be funny to you people?

The highest rated critically reviewed comedy in recent memory.

Or I guess we could just take your word for it?

I would not mind if that came from a real guy from Kazahstan.
Otherwise, it is just plain offensive.

where is borat originally from? I dont know the guy's real name so oops.

His real name is Sasha Baron Cohen, he's from London.

He's the star of "Da Ali G Show" and "Borat" was a frequent segment in between parts of the show.

He was in Talladega Nights - Ricky Bobby too.

hahah - he has every right

the kazakhstan government cant buy this kind of publicity. any publicity is good publicity.

who would have given a crap about the country before? now they have to defend themselves about all the good things in kazakhstan with full page ads in newspapers and interviews with government officials.

Yeah I can definitely sympathize with people who find this offensive, but still I think most of the audience for the movie is intelligent enough not to apply it to an entire country they've never heard of. That being said, I'm headed out to see this in 2 hours. I can't believe this movie has a 96 on rottentomatoes :0
