Bootvis & A7N8X deluxe

Does anyone know what the deal is with the A7N8X board running bootvis. I just installed the board and, after loading winxp, tried to run bootvis. It just locked up during the reboot.

I had come across something about this problem in the forums somewhere, but a search produced nothing.

Anyone know what is going on or how to resolve it?

i have an a7n8x deluxe and used bootvis: it worked okay with no lockup.
mind you, since the time from power-up to winxp load was about 20secs bootvis only shaved a second or so off that time
 
maybe I willl try again. I like the tool, especially having just done a clean install of windows it is nice to get everything set up and then optimize from the start.

I'm glad it worked for you, that gives me more confidence. Maybe I used it prematurely (having just built the machine from parts).

i know how you feel
i used to just install anything and everything on my old machine but on this new one i have been really finickity from the outset and tried to tweak as i go along.

i have to say though that i didnt really notice any gain from bootvis
